How to Measure Your Horse for a Bridle
Determining the right bridle size can be tricky, but don't worry! We've got you covered.
Step 1: Measure Your Horse's Head To start, measure the distance from the bottom of one cheek piece, over the horse's head, to the bottom of the other cheek piece on your current bridle. (See image below for clarification.)
- Cob: 34-41 inches
- Full/Warmblood: 36-44 inches
- Oversized/Extra Large: 40-48 inches
Step 2: Measure Your Horse's Nose Next, measure the circumference of your horse's nose about a finger's width below the cheekbones.
- Cob: 24-27 inches
- Full/Warmblood: 25.5-28.5 inches
- Oversized/Extra Large: 27-30 inches
Browband Length
- Cob: 16 inches
- Full/Warmblood: 17 inches

Oversized/Extra Large: 18 inches
